To allow charging of vehicles at public locations safely and securely a compact charging unit comes with all of the standard functionality of a standard public charging post in a neat wall-mounted unit.

The compact public charger provides single/three-phase alternating current (AC) via a 62196/2 socket that is operated by an RFID tag. This unit is fitted with a meter and GSM communications to facilitate remote monitoring and uploading of metering data in order to record and/or recover electricity costs.
